.

What are Pathfinders?

Pathfinders is a worldwide organization of young people sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, though young people of any religious persuasion, or none at all, are welcome and encouraged to join the organization. They offer a wide range of activities including, but not limited to:

  • Camping & camping/survival skills.

  • Grade-appropriate leadership training.

  • Activities promoting community pride & involvement through outreach activities such as helping in downtown soup kitchens, collecting food for the disadvantaged, cleaning & maintaining city and county parks, visiting and encouraging the elderly, and MANY more.

  • Interactive training in a variety of recreational, artistic, nature, conservation, vocational, and outreach areas, with awards (honours) given for successful completion of the interactive training modules.

Well, that sounds like fun, how do I get involved?

The Pathfinders curriculum is set mainly set up for children between 9-16. We say mainly because we know there are always some who will always be children at heart. For those, staff positions are available in many locations that offer adults the opportunity to make a difference for young people, develop friendships with fellow staff, learn more about God's creation, and improve their training skills.

Over the next few months, our Pathfinder club will be preparing ourselves to attend 2019 Chosen international camporee. It is a great event that takes place every 5 years and brings together pathfinders from around the world to Oshkosh Wisconsin for a week of learning, making new friends and growth. We are planning on going the for the 3rd consecutive International Camporee. Our goal is to send 50 individuals but we need your help. Find out how we are doing by following us here.
